Manchester United are working to persuade Zinédine Zidane to succeed Ole Gunnar Solskjær as their manager. The Glazer family’s discontent with Solskjær’s performances as a manager has been growing.

Zidane is understood to be unsure whether the opportunity presented is the right one to take at this point but #mufc’s hierarchy are hopeful that his close relationships with Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphaël Varane can help to convince him to join.
