*DANIEL ODHIAMBO DAKTARI WAVE SHAKING UGENYA CONSTITUENCY WITH THE YOUTH SET TO BENEFIT FROM SPORTS.

The writing is on the wall and his actions are already speaking louder than his words…..All indicators are that Hon Daniel Odhiambo Daktari is the next MP for Ugenya.

Having been an all round sportsman during his youth with his speciality being football which is the world’s number 1 sport and athletics, top on his agenda is to set up a Special Youth Sports Fund in Ugenya constituency to complement the Sh 1million which MPs receive annually for the development of sports.

Within the short time he has toured Ugenya constituency to familiarize with the problems facing the youth and the people of Ugenya in general, Daktari and his able team which comprises veteran sportsmen has come face to face with the apathy of sports development in Ugenya as abundant natural talent in sports like football, volleyball, basketball and athletics is going to waste because the political leadership has abandoned the youth in Ugenya.

This demands for answers from the current political leadership as to where does the Sh 1million given to Ugenya constituency in the past for years go to?

According to Daktari’s team development of sports is not about dishing out sports kits, because coaches and referees in various disciplines must be trained and sports development must start from age groups with various tournaments staged all over Ugenya by involving schools.
